1. Acceptance of Terms

By using AbegNo ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

AbegNo is an AI-powered bookkeeping and payment tracking service delivered through WhatsApp. The Service helps you record sales transactions, track customer credit, and send payment reminders.

Important: AbegNo is a bookkeeping tool. It is not a bank, payment processor, lender, or financial advisor. The Service does not hold funds, process payments, or provide financial advice.

3. Account Registration

Your account is created automatically when you send your first message to AbegNo on WhatsApp. By using the Service, you confirm that:

  • You are at least 18 years old
  • The WhatsApp number you use belongs to you
  • You will provide accurate information about your transactions
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your WhatsApp account

4. Subscriptions & Payments

AbegNo offers a free tier with limited monthly transactions. Paid subscriptions (Standard: ₦2,500/month, Pro: ₦7,500/month) provide additional capacity and features. Subscriptions are processed through Paystack and auto-renew unless cancelled. You may cancel at any time through your account or by contacting support.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for illegal activities or fraud
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, hack, or disrupt the Service
  • Use automated tools to interact with the Service outside of normal WhatsApp usage
  • Share your account with unauthorized users beyond the limits of your plan
  • Upload malicious content or attempt to exploit vulnerabilities

6. Limitation of Liability

AbegNo provides the Service "as is" without warranty. While we strive for accuracy, we are not liable for:

  • Errors in AI-generated transaction records (please verify important entries)
  • Losses resulting from delayed or missed payment reminders
  • Downtime caused by WhatsApp API outages or third-party service interruptions
  • Business decisions made based on Service data

7. Intellectual Property

The AbegNo name, logo, and Service are protected by copyright and trademark laws. You retain ownership of your business data. We retain ownership of the AI models, software, and technology powering the Service.

8. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. Upon termination, your data will be handled according to our Privacy Policy.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes through WhatsApp. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Lagos State, Nigeria.
